Poets Den
The Poets Den is a writing group open to readers, writers, aspiring writers, and curious creatives! The purpose of our meeting is threefold: to read and discuss poetry as inspiration, to write in a communal setting, and to share our own writing (if desired). You do not have to be a professional writer, avid reader, or English major to join—whether you call yourself a writer or have only ever known a blank page, you are welcome and encouraged!

Poets Den Workshop
Poets Den Workshop is an intimate gathering for writers who share the intention to create work that is performable, distributable, and publishable. The workshop itself will consist of discussion and critique through close-reading and line-editing each other’s work with the intention to advance projects and aspirations. For now, the Workshop will focus on poetry, prose poetry, and flash fiction.
The Workshop is likely a fit if:
You have an appreciation for/interest in literary tools and techniques
You want to improve/refine your craft as a poet
You don’t take it personally if others honestly (but kindly) challenge and critique your work
You are excited about editing and discussing others’ writing
You have larger goals for your writing—like publication, performance, etc
You’re willing to put time into your writing outside of the Workshop
You're open to attending the Workshop regularly
If you sign up and then can't go—it's very important that you please cancel your ticket ASAP as there are only six seats available in the Workshop.
If you have questions or would like to discuss further, please email:
